Three Tajik students deported from Egypt in Moscow.

Three students from Tajikistan were deported from Egypt to Moscow for violating the passport-visa regime, reports RIA Novosti.
Students Shavkat Kimsanov, Khurshed Ermatov and Alamsho Sharifov enrolled in a Muslim religious academy Al-Azhar University, contends the agency.
In late May of this school, students have been expelled from the Russian Federation. On the night of 26 to 27 May, Egyptian authorities detained 37 students from Russia - mostly come from the North Caucasus - in rented private homes in the Cairo district of Madinat Nasr.
Simultaneously, the Russians were arrested about two hundred people, the citizens of Great Britain, Denmark, France, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and several Arab countries.
Some students were released after verification of documents, some were deported from the country. Officially, students were accused of violating the rules of stay in Egypt.

While many of the students have been released or deported, there are still at least 20 students who are being held at undisclosed locations. The majority of the students are French, however, families of the detainees have reported that the French embassy claims that it cannot get involved until 14 days have passed since the student was detained. The family of one student from Uzbekistan was informed by their embassy that Egyptian police have refused to reveal the location of the student, as well as the charges against him.
While some of the students who were detained did have expired visas, most of those students have been either deported or released. Although, the specific circumstances of the students who are still being held are unknown, the cases that I am familiar with all had valid visas.
At this point, the families of the detainees, and the foreign students in Egypt are calling on human rights organizations around the world to request the Egyptian government to allow the detainees to be contacted and checked on by their embassies and families, to provide the detainees with the right to due process according to the stipulations of international human rights charters, and to guarantee that the students are accorded humane treatment, adequate medical care, and suitable living conditions.
