In the capital of Mexico was a major earthquake.

140 kilometers southeast of Mexico City was a major earthquake, reports Associated Press.
According to the USGS, the earthquake hypocenter, which occurred at 14:24 local time (22:24 Moscow), located at a depth of 97 kilometers of the city of Puebla. The strength of tremors was 5.7 points.
As the RIA Novosti with reference to its own correspondent in Mexico City, tremors were felt in the capital of Mexico within 25 seconds. People were evacuated from tall buildings, some of the inhabitants of the city itself have fled their homes.
As a result of the earthquake the building received minor damage, but the serious damage were reported. In some areas of the city were switched off electricity. According to preliminary data, the population there were no casualties.
Remember, the last major earthquake occurred in Mexico City on 19 September 1985. Then the tremors as a result of force 8,1 points died about nine thousand people and dozens of buildings were completely destroyed.
