Blackwater Private security guards have left Baghdad.

The American private security company Xe, formerly known as Blackwater, has completed its work in Baghdad. That was reported by Associated Press on Thursday, 7 May.
Press secretary of the American Embassy in Baghdad, Ziyad, Susan (Susan Ziadeh) confirmed the agency that contracted with a security firm Xe (read as "Zee") is dissolved. Now the protection of American facilities in the capital of Iraq will deal with organization of Triple Canopy.
AP Sources in U.S. State Department reported that the firm Xe will continue to work in the southern provinces of Iraq during the summer of 2009. Helicopter squadrons Presidential Airways, the aviation security unit of the corporation Xe, will protect diplomatic convoys until September 2009.
By company Blackwater in Iraq has developed a very negative attitude, because the company has consistently provided in the center of scandals involving the killing of civilians.
The Iraqi authorities have repeatedly appealed to Washington to demand to sever all State Contract with Blackwater. For example, in September 2007, the company's employees guarding a diplomatic convoy in downtown Baghdad staged a cross, which resulted in the deaths of 17 civilians. Currently, the Americans involved in that incident in the United States indicted and await trial.
In turn, American observers often criticize the White House, because business success Blackwater in Iraq, many associated with the friendship between the founder of Erik Prince and 43-m U.S. President George W. Bush.
