The DPRK chief negotiator executed with Seoul.

North Korean authorities executed an official responsible for relations with South Korea, reported Yonhap News Agency on Tuesday, 19 May.
Song Chol Choi (Choe Sung Chol), Head of the Department of North Korean Workers' Party, which is responsible for the development of relations with Seoul, was executed, as reported in the sources of the agency, because of his suspected of corruption. However, this was the formal charges made against a party functionary.
Indeed, as explained by sources of Yonhap News, Kim Jong Il, the discontent of the Choi Sung Chol was due to the fact that Chol appeared consistent supporter of normalizing relations with South Korea.
According to Yonhap News, Choi Sung Chol, was executed in late 2008. Rumors of his execution started to spread to Pyongyang in early 2009, as the officer has ceased to appear in public. Sources agency confirmed the death of 53-year-old Choi Sung Chol.
