Japan will help to dispose of the Russian submarine.

Prime Minister Taro Aso of Japan will provide 4 billion yen (40 million dollars) from the budget for the disposal of Russian nuclear submarines in the Far East, reported AFP.
A decision on the allocation of financial aid will be announced on Tuesday, May 12, Taro Aso, following a meeting with the head of the Cabinet of Ministers of Russia, Vladimir Putin, Kyodo News reported, citing unnamed sources in the government.
Japan has already allocated 20 billion yen to the destruction of 70 decommissioned nuclear submarines of the Pacific Fleet.
Recycling ended his tour of duty submarine fleet Russia will end in spring 2010, by that time, Japan plans to help Russia with the construction of storage facilities for spent nuclear fuel.
The two-day meeting between the Prime Ministers of Russia and Japan will begin May 12 and will focus on a wide range of issues of cooperation between the two nations. In July, Taro Aso will meet with the President of Russia Dmitry Medvedev at the Summit of Eight in Italy.
