Sri Lankan Army had eliminated the son of the leader of "Tamil Tigers".

Representative of the Ministry of Defense of Sri Lanka said the destruction of four leaders of the rebel Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam. Among those killed was the son of the leader of the movement Velupillaya Prabhakarana Charles Anthony. That was reported on Monday, 18 May, AFP.
Also killed was the head of the political wing factions Balasingham Nadesan, the director of its peace secretariat Pulidevan Sivaratnam and military leader of the Tamil Ramesh. Among those killed were not very Prabhakarana. His whereabouts still unknown, but most likely he is on the blocked section of jungle troops.
Previously, it was reported that as a result of fighting the Sri Lankan army fighters have suffered huge losses. According to authorities, the survivors still have no more than a hundred fighters, who plot to hold the jungle area of less than one square kilometer. In connection with the losses the rebels were forced to call upon the Government to the peace negotiations. Sri Lankan President Mahinda Rajapakse is going to declare victory over the Tamils, on Tuesday.
The group, the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam are fighting for the independence of the Tamil state since 1972. During the conflict in the country, killed tens of thousands of people. 30 countries have recognized the movement a terrorist organization.
