During the investigation, the Indian authorities have established that the attack was prepared by the terrorist group Lashkar-e-Taibe, which is based in Pakistan. Before the court were also two Indian citizen accused of aiding the terrorists who committed the attack on Mumbai. However, Ansari Fahim (Fahim Ansari) and Sabauddin Ahmed (Sabauddin Ahmed) also refused to admit guilt.
Earlier Kasab made confessions about their involvement in a terrorist act, but then said that they gave under torture. If convicted, Kasaba face the death penalty.
