UN Tribunal released the four suspects in the assassination of prime minister of Lebanon.

UN Tribunal has decided to release from detention of the four generals arrested for the murder of Lebanese Prime Minister Rafik Hariri. That was reported by BBC News.
On freedom must go the former head of the security of Lebanon Jamil al-Sayyad (Jamil al-Sayyad), a former chief of police, Ali Hajj (Ali Hajj), the former head of military intelligence Raymond Azar (Raymond Azar) and the commander of the Republican Guard Mustafa Hamdan (Mustafa Hamdan) .
High-ranking military officers were arrested in 2005, shortly after the murder, at first they were held in detention in Lebanon, then transferred to the prison of the UN. All this time they did not charge.
Belgian judge, Daniel Fransen, leading preliminary hearing, stated that there was no sufficient evidence that the generals need to retain custody. If the military will not be charged in other cases, they should go immediately after the decision.
Supporters of detained generals celebrated the Tribunal decision in the streets of Beirut, firing in the air.
International Tribunal to investigate Hariri's murder was opened on March 1. Before that, in late February, the Lebanese authorities released three other suspects in the terrorist attack. In April 2009, there were reports that in Dubai have detained one suspect in the murder of Hariri, Mohammed Zuhair Siddiq, who is an agent of the Syrian secret services.
Hariri killed in Beirut in February 2005 as a result of a car bombing mined together with the former prime minister killed another 22 people. UN Special Commission investigating the attack, concluded that the organization involved in the Syrian secret services.
