Vice-President of the USA was awarded a medal in Kosovo.

Kosovo authorities awarded U.S. Vice-President Joe Biden who is on a visit to Pristina, the Gold Medal of Freedom, tells AFP.
At a press conference held following his talks with Kosovo President Fatmir Sejdiu, Biden expressed his gratitude for the privilege, noting that he does not deserve this award, but take it on behalf of the United States.
Joe Biden has become the highest-ranking American politician to visit Kosovo since the declaration of independence of the republic in February 2008. During his visit, he stressed that the independence of edges is not subject to revision.
According to the Vice-President for the past year, the Government of Kosovo has made considerable progress. First of all, Biden said, it refers to the multi-ethnic population of the province.
Visiting Biden in Kosovo led to widespread support among local residents. Thousands of ethnic Albanians that make up the majority of the population of the country, welcomed the motorcade of American politics, coming from the airport in Pristina. Meanwhile, Serbs living in Kosovo Mitrovica, intend to organize a protest against the visit of Biden.
Earlier, U.S. Vice-President, visited Serbia and Bosnia.
