Gurkha officially allowed to live in Britain.

The Ministry of Interior of Great Britain formally authorized all-Gurkha soldiers who served until 1997 and held in the army no less than four years old, live in the United Kingdom, reports BBC News.
Previously, such a right were Gurkha who served with the British Army after 1997. The main part of which served Nepalese Gurkha soldiers, until 1997, based in Hong Kong. The first unit of the Nepalese volunteers have been established in the British Army in 1816. "Gurkha" they called on behalf of one of the people of Nepal to the British respondents to the so-called "warlike races." Gurkha serving in the British Army on the same footing as British citizens, so they are not considered mercenaries.
Part-Gurkha Nepalese actively participated in most military conflicts in which Britain participated.
