As stated in the petition Karadzic Frenchwoman Michel Picard should be disqualified because she previously chaired the Human Rights Chamber of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The authority is investigating human rights violations, said agency.
"Judge Picard had already made a decision on some facts, which are discussed in the case of Karadzic," - stated in an address to the court. Its participation in an "unacceptable bias" indicates the protection of the defendant.
Recall, 63-year-old Karadzic is charged with 11 episodes of war crimes, crimes against humanity and genocide. He was arrested in July 2008 in Belgrade, where he gave himself to the doctor of alternative medicine.
