Granddaughter last communist leader of Bulgaria has announced his resignation from politics. It will advance its label knitwear under the name Jenny Style, transfer agency AFP.
44-year-old Zhivkova was a member of the Bulgarian Parliament from the Socialist Party since 2001. She said that would not stand for election to the new elections scheduled for July 5, as the party unfolded "highly dishonorable fight" for entering the lists.
In 1989, when Todor Zhivkov was ousted, he was placed under house arrest at his dacha granddaughter. Evgenia Zhivkova then helped carry out the deposed leader of contacts with the outside world. Todor Zhivkov died in 1998.
