Snowfall blocked roads in New Zealand.

The sudden fall of temperature and heavy snowfall blocked the traffic on the major islands of New Zealand - South and North, reports Xinhua.
South Island overwhelmed by snow, the roads of Northern destroyed continuing rain and wind, contends the agency. Police recommends that citizens not to travel outside the city without any particular need.
Rescue Service has warned citizens of the country that the extremely cold weather will continue for another few days. Because of bad weather disrupted the communication between the islands - waves in the Cook Strait to seven meters in height, which prevents the movement of ferries.
Winter in New Zealand usually begins in June, and most bad weather comes in July. Therefore, the authorities were unprepared to counter the bad weather.
