Cambridge University awarded the honorary degree of Doctors of Law Bill Gates and his wife Melinda, the Cambridge News. The ceremony was held in Cambridge on 12 June.
University of Cambridge said the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, honorary degrees for their charitable work. It reminds the edition, Microsoft founder and his wife donated to the activities of the charity fund of about 24 billion dollars.
In 2000, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation established a special scholarship, which may be free to Cambridge to study aliens. Cambridge Fund provided a grant of 210 million dollars to create a trust fund, which paid a grant.
In addition to spouses Gates Foundation received more honorary degrees, eight eminent persons of science, art and business, noted for his contribution to a particular area of human activity.
