Tuesday, 16 June, the heads of the member countries of Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) have adopted the convention against terrorism. On it informs ITAR-TASS. Also on the outcome of the summit, which was held in Yekaterinburg, was signed the final declaration.
How to specify "Interfax", the SCO - China, Russia, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan - have recognized the regular practice of holding joint anti-terrorism exercises.
At the summit, Chinese President Hu Jintao said that China will provide the countries of SCO "crisis" loan of 10 billion U.S. dollars.
Also, the summit agreed to Belarus and Sri Lanka, the status of the SCO dialogue partners.
The next Summit of the Organization held in Tashkent in 2010. Chairmanship of the SCO has passed from Russia to Uzbekistan.
At the summit was also attended as observers the presidents of Pakistan and Iran, as well as Indian Prime Minister Manhoman Singh and the First Vice Prime Minister of Mongolia Norovyn Altanhuyag.
According to ITAR-TASS Natalia Timakova, spokesman for the Russian president, Dmitry Medvedev held a private meeting with Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. Visiting Iranian leader in the Russian Federation, was detained for a day because of riots and speeches by the opposition in Iran, which began after the victory of Ahmadinejad in the presidential election held on 12 June.
