Representative headquarters Mahmoud Ahmadinejad declared victory in the presidential election, reports Agence France-Presse, referring to the Iranian инфоÑмагентÑтво Fars News Agency.
In the first official communication from the closure of polling stations by the Staff of Ahmadinejad Samareh Hachemi said: "According to the counting of votes, detachment from Ahmadinejad rivals is so great that any doubts in his victory give the impression unsuccessful jokes."
According to the Electoral Commission of Iran, after counting 77 percent of valid ballots president won 65 percent of the vote against 32 percent for his main rival - former Prime Minister Mir-Hossein Mousavi. Two other candidates who participated in the elections, gaining no more than two per cent of the vote each.
According to preliminary estimates of Chapter Election Commission Kamran Daneshdzho, the turnout was attended by more than 35 million people, representing 75 - 80 percent of the total eligible voters of Iran.
To win in the first round of the presidential candidates need to recruit more than 50 percent of the vote.
