Hamas handed member of the British Parliament Palestinian passport.

Representatives of the radical Islamic movement Hamas on 12 March handed British MP George Gelloueyu (George Galloway) Palestinian passport in recognition of his achievements in the delivery of humanitarian aid to the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, transfer BBC News.

Gellouey arrived in the Gaza Strip on Wednesday, March 11, along with humanitarian convoys, which delivered basic necessities, medicines, as well as financial assistance. Reported that the Palestinians Gellouey personally donated 50 thousand dollars and has helped form a convoy.

British MP has received a passport from the hands of the Palestinian leader of Hamas, Prime Minister of the non-Islamist government in Gaza, Ismail Haniyeh. Haniyeh first appeared in public since the beginning of Israel's 2009 military operation, "Cast the lead" against Palestinian militants in Gaza.

Recall that the operation had killed 1330 Palestinians, 5450 more were injured. Infrastructure was severely damaged, which the Palestinian side has appreciated by at least two billion dollars.

At the last summit in Cairo to assist the Gaza Strip, international donors agreed to provide for recovery of 4,5 billion dollars. Meanwhile, all aid to Gaza must go through the Palestinian Authority, headed by the leader of Hamas rival Fatah movement of Mahmoud Abbas, whom the international community recognizes the sole legitimate representative of Palestinians.
