The four laptops containing sensitive information, including plans and codes of a new prison in France, had been stolen from a construction company office in the city of Nancy. That was reported by AFP, referring to sources in the French police.
The prison, designed for 690 inmates, was opened this summer. The exact date of commencement of its work has so far kept secret.
Theft occurred on 27 February in the period between 12:00 and 14:00. Malefactors entered the premises, which are rented in a residential home building leadership prison company Eiffage BTP.
Broken door and window on the first floor of the building, the criminals made four laptops with classified information. As noted, at that time none of the employees at the site was not. Prosecutor's Office began investigating the incident of Nancy, the representatives have promised to provide more detailed information about the incident later.
Reported that the company Eiffage BTP after the incident, moved to another building.
