In China, a street of Russian culture. That was reported by RIA Novosti with reference to the deputy People's Political Consultative Council of China from the Russian national minorities Nicholas Luneva. Street will be established in the city Kuldzha located in the Xinjiang Uighur Autonomous Region of China, which borders with Russia.
According Luneva, the decision to establish such a street has been taken at the municipal level. Currently, negotiations with the authorities on the financing of the project. By creating the streets of Russian culture will also be held by specialists from Russia: As the deputy supreme advisory body of China, the authorities agreed to send in Novosibirsk Kuldzhu architects to build houses in the Russian style.
Apart from the style of merchants' houses residential buildings on the streets of Russian culture will open restaurants of Russian cuisine, as well as saunas, exhibition centers and shops with souvenirs from Russia. Later in the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region will be built Russian tourist complex.
"The experience of the construction of such centers we already have: in the three counties near Kuldzhi already organized centers of Kazakhstan and the Uighur culture. Now it only allowed the Chinese, but soon we plan to open them to foreign tourists," - Lunev told in an interview with the agency.
According to the agency in the PRC live 13,5 thousand Russians. 11 thousand of them live in Kuldzhe and adjacent to the city areas.
