In Egypt, the Court of Appeal sentenced the owner of the ferry, who drowned in the Red Sea, killing more than a thousand people. As the Associated Press, Mamdu Ismail (Mamdouh Ismail) was found guilty of manslaughter and sentenced to seven years in prison.
